When can I wear my normal brassiere?

How long this takes will depend on the extent of your breast reduction.

Will my nipples be impacted?

Procedure

Recovery

You’ll experience some swelling, bruising, and tenderness after your procedure, all of which is completely normal. Dr. Fisher and his team will make sure you have any medication necessary to keep you comfortable, and will outfit you with a support bra to support the treatment area and help guide the recovery process.

You’ll need to rest and recover for a day or two, but will be able to be moving around within a few days. Many patients are able to resume their daily routines within one to three weeks, but strenuous activities will need to be avoided for four to six weeks. Dr. Fisher will set up follow-up appointments to ensure that you’re healing nicely.
